Murgia almonds bloom in February, braving the last winter colds. They are mechanically harvested in August, when the heat has brought sugars and essential oils to their maximum concentration.
The Filippo Cea variety is distinguished by its natural sweetness, crunchiness, and thin skin. Sun-dried for 2-3 days, without additives or preservatives.
It is used in cooking, for gastronomic preparations, and especially for confectionery.
